Hiking was not intensive but make sure you are wearing hiking shoes to make the trek more comfortable. We were given crampons for the glacier hike and it exceeded expectation! However you should be aware that its a 3 hour drive from Vik to the overnight accommodation with only 1 stop at diamond beach . Also on day 2 we had a 2.5 hour wait for tourists to finish the glacier hike who were on the 1 day tour (their bus would be used for the 2 day tourists) .”

Definitely worth all of the money, because the trip takes the whole day (8am- 7pm), and what is most exciting- you get a chance to walk on an actual glacier for two hours, with all of the equipement and guide of course. Super warm clothes needed in the winter time, proper hiking boots, and fully charged cameras as you won’t be able to stop taking pictures.”
