So we often stopped to have a very long look at the ice in the lagoon. We didn't even see the end of the glacier. So put on many layers of clothes if you have the same weather conditions. On a bright day it must be a highlight.”

There is nothing quite like it that I've seen before. Our guide Mímir was great. He was very knowledgeable about the glacier and it's surroundings, and taught us a great deal about it with some jokes along the way. The small scale of the tour is great (there were 3 of us at the time) and Mímir gave us plenty of space and time when we went through a cravace, ice cave or anything else "photo-worthy".…”
