“Very well organized tour to the glaciers with unique monster trucks! The guide, Guilielmo, was friendly and knowledgeable. A bonus of the tour was decensing in an ice cave with ropes and seeing the bluish formations up close. The landscape is otherwise pretty unimpressive during summer, as you're walking on dirty ice and don't have a view of the nice icy formations that you see in the pictures. An added disappointment was finding out about the fast pace of melting, which actually makes these tours even more imperative to experience while they last!”

We where informed about this change one day in advance, so this was no issue at all. From the meeting point, we start our tour to the glacier with a purpose-built vehicle. The vehicle parks close to the start of the glacier, so it is only a short walk until we put on our crampons. Walking on the ice using the crampons is already an experience!
