“The pools overlook a beautiful lake with hills in the distance. It is a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours after a day of hiking or driving. There a few pools of varying temperatures and a sauna. For those wanting to cool off, a jump into the lake does the trick. While not our favorite spa (that goes to the Forest Lagoon in Akuyeri), the Vök Baths were very nice. The only negative was how slippery the main pool was. That will, of course, be corrected when they clean it again.”

“Overall, the experience was great. The negatives include disorganized and unclear bus location and loading. We were to be on a 9:30 bus, but our bus was already filled so we were moved to another 10:00 bus that also left late. People were very confused and frustrated. Busses did not have signage and we were not provided clear instruction on where to find the bus. Once we go going, our guide was wonderful, friendly, and accommodating. The scenery is breathtaking. Also a negative was stopping for a bathroom break where there was one toilet for two busses of people and we spent a considerable amount of time wasted waiting for…”

“The experience itself was great. The booking process was awful. We booked several days ahead of time and when we were pulling up to the location listed after a +2 hr drive to get there, we got a call telling us the location had changed to someplace about 45 minutes away. We started the drive to the new location, now running very late. About 10 minutes into the new location we got a call saying the previous information was not correct, and that the tour had actually been cancelled. So we made a 3 hr drive for a tour that we weren’t told was cancelled until we already arrived at…”
